National News: Punjab, known as the land of Gurus, is showing its resilience even after the floods. The state is determined to rise again through 'Mission Chardikla,' launched by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. This mission is aimed not only at helping Punjab recover from the disaster but also at bringing back growth, prosperity, and hope for the future.
Chief Minister Mann explained that 'Mission Chardikla' is more than relief work; it is about securing Punjab’s future. He said, “Farmers need to start farming again, children must return to schools, and families affected by floods should rebuild their homes.” The initiative is rooted in the strong sense of unity among Punjabis. People from Punjab, both in India and abroad, are joining the campaign, showing that Punjabis stand together in tough times.
The mission relies heavily on public cooperation. Chief Minister Mann emphasized that Punjabis always help each other during difficulties. Even those living abroad are contributing to the cause. The Union Bank of India supported this mission with ₹2 crore. As Mann said, “Even ₹10 from someone is as valuable as ₹10 crore.” This support is not only financial but also a symbol of love and unity among Punjabis.
The Punjab government has prepared well for 'Mission Chardikla.' A special War Room has been created in the Chief Minister’s Office to monitor the mission closely, and Mann reviews it every day. Health Minister Dr. Balbir Singh confirmed that special attention is being given to the health of people and animals in flood-hit areas. Farmers whose crops were destroyed will also get compensation. These steps show the government is taking real action, not just making promises. 'Mission Chardikla' represents a collective effort, not just a government plan. It reflects Punjab’s spirit of facing challenges together. This initiative allows Punjabis to rebuild their state and proves that Punjab never loses hope but always stays in 'Chardikla.'
